Loch Lomond Shores Farmers' Market

A wide array of Scottish produce, including beef, lamb, pork, chicken, venison, seafood, smoked produce, home baking, soups, seasonal fruit and vegetables, hand-made confectionery, jams, chutneys and Scottish honey, oats and breakfast cereals, cheeses and oatcakes, hand made artisan soap, beverages and liqueurs.

Lombard Rally 2008 - Taking the High Road

Where Cowal
The Lombard Rally heads north the National Park. It follows runs through the Drimsynie Forest overlooking Lochgoilhead and Loch Goil, the Rest and Be Thankful, Glenbranter, Ardentinny, Inelllan and Inverary. Such illustrious drivers as Stirling Moss, Jackie Rest and Be Thankfull rally hill climb well documented in the 1920s through to recent days - at some time and the Lombard RAC Rally last used the hill in the early 1990s. Nature in the Frame

Focus (no pun intended!) on how to get the best from your camera - whether traditional or digital. We will look at techniques to improve your photography and produce a good composition. Starting from basics, the course should be of interest to those with some experience as well as beginners. It doesn’t matter whether you have the latest SLR digital camera or an old fashioned instamatic, as many great photos have been taken with simple inexpensive cameras! In the afternoon (weather depending) we will go out into the stunning scenery of the Trossachs to put into practice techniques learned in the morning.

Tree-mendous

Where Meet at the North Pier, Inchcailloch
Immerse yourself into the beautiful oak woodland of Inchcailloch, an island in Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve, and take a closer look at the variety of trees and other life-forms in this nationally important habitat.

Breadalbane Heritage

Ever wondered how people used to live in the National Park? Join Countryside Rangers for a cultural heritage minibus tour of the Breadalbane area, as we visit various sites and discover more about the history of this beautiful part of the Park.

Habitats & Hibernation

Find out how the National Park wildlife prepares for hibernation in winter and how you can help with making different types of hibernation boxes.

Have Your Say on Inchcailloch's Future

National Park Tree Weekend
